Enrolled in or completed a recognised valuation qualification. Practise under a supervisor. Certificate typically 5 years; annual academic progress reports.
Your role on that valuation: target level E.
1. Register as Candidate Valuer — Download the form, commissioner of oaths on items 9 and 10, email [email protected]. The Member Portal is not for new registrations.
2. Supervised valuations — Keep an Experience Matrix (Item 11.1) and valuation reports. Supervisor letter must confirm the work was under their mentorship.
3. Practical Workschool — Compulsory. Gazetted 2026/27 fee for the 4–5 day school is R8,900.
4. Board examination — Pr Val or Pr AVal admission exam. Fees become payable after you pass. This is an exam, not an ECSA-style interview.
