Registration categories

PrCPM
Recognised built-environment degree; years of post-qualification PM experience depend on the qualification (confirm on the current Rules)

Professional Construction Project Manager

Candidate Construction Project Manager (Can CPM) then PrCPM. Apply on myPCM with a SACPCMP-format CV, Eligibility Assessment Report, then competency assessment. Experience years depend on qualification (often 4–6 after a 4-year degree).

Professional Construction Manager

Candidate Construction Manager (Can CM) then PrCM. Same portal and logbook family (Annexure F), construction-stage emphasis.

Candidacy path

1. Apply on myPCM — Watch the mandatory video, pick PrCPM or PrCM (you cannot change designation later), pay, then upload certified ID, MIE-verified qualifications, SAQA if foreign.

2. Eligibility Assessment Report — Project profile on the portal plus successes-and-failures report in the Annexure E template.

3. Candidate logbook — Annexure F practical-experience logbook for PrCPM/PrCM, mapped to Stages of Services (Annexure H).

4. Competency assessment — Verified professional applications go to appointed assessors. Candidates follow an internal assessment path to Can CPM / Can CM first.

Drafts P2P can assemble

Starting drafts only. You copy into myPCM registration portal.

First ship covers PrCPM and PrCM only. Specified CHS and inspector categories are later. myPCM is the filing cabinet.
